Estuary

estuary2

This drawing shows a view looking across the water near a sandy island in the Peel Harvey Estuary at Mandurah, with the low Darling Scarp just visible in the distance. There’s a channel of deeper water near the island that is used by small boats as they head out into the estuary to catch crabs and fish. The water in the estuary is very shallow in most places.

It’s a small piece about 10cms square in pencil on paper.
