More everlastings

everlastings in salt bush

Here’s a view looking down on a landscape of salt bush dotted with white everlastings in the mid-west of Western Australia. The everlastings make the tough bush landscape look more like a pretty garden but they are ephemeral and don’t last long once the hot weather sets in.

It’s done in gouache and pencil on paper, 10cms x 10cms.
