Here’s a view of the Gallows Gallery during our recent Mid-Winter Exhibition. This view shows my drawings installed in one half of the space. The other artists were Patricia Hines and Janet Pyke – you can just see some of Janet’s work on the low plinth on the far wall. We all received positive comments about our work during the ten day exhibition and made enough sales to cover our costs.
On the left panel hanging in the window I pinned a long drawing of the Nullarbor Plain. It’s 2.25 metres long and unframed. I intended it as purely an installation piece for the exhibition, but to my delight someone bought it! Here’s a closer view of it with bulldog clips on pins holding it up.
