Mulga trees

My first post after being away for five weeks!
Here’s a sketch of a tree at Mt Gibson in the semi-desert part of Western Australia. These small acacia trees are incredibly resilient, enduring long periods of drought as well as extremes in temperatures. As a consequence they develop contorted trunks and branches.
