This is the beginning of a new drawing of Lake Cowan in Western Australia. It’s a salt lake that runs north-south near the goldfields town of Norseman, in Western Australia. There’s a gravel road running across the lake at this point, on a built-up causeway. This view is looking south-east from a lookout on the western side of the causeway. From that spot you can see parts of the white salt lake surface surrounded by dark rocky hills and islands with trees and shrubs that are typical of the Great Western Woodland.
I’ll post the completed drawing next time.
