Flat-topped hill drawings

Flat-topped hill view left

This is the first of three drawings I have done of a hill in the Gascoyne area in outback Western Australia. It’s a hill I have previously drawn with coloured pencils that I previously displayed on this blog.

I have drawn the hill in three sections and will post images of the other two sections in the weeks to come. I am now working out how to frame these drawings as I would ideally like them to be part of a triptych and be hung close together to form the whole hill. They should also work as individual drawings too – just in case someone wants to only buy one. Once they have a matt each drawing will be 34cms by 21.5cms.

I have used a Bic propelling pencil on cartridge paper.
