Nanga Road sketch

This sketch was done after a trip up to the hills near Dwellingup – due east of Mandurah where I live. The hills are quite steep and at the moment are full of yellow wattles. This area was burnt in bushfires and the trees are just starting to show some strong regrowth. I was trying to incorporate some colour in my drawing and used watercolour pencils as well as my favourite Bic pencil.
